One Hundred and Two

I attended a birthday celebration for Thelma yesterday--she celebrated 102 years. According to a timeline on the wall, when she was four years old, zippers became fashionable.



Some of her great-great grandchildren were there.

I woke up this morning and didn't know any of these people existed. Though our encounters were brief, each of them added depth to my day.
